The Professionally Aligned Therapeutic Health (PATH) Internship
The Professionally Aligned Therapeutic Health (PATH) Internship Program is for undergraduates, graduates, and post-graduates, who are pursuing or have completed degrees in social work, counseling, and other related fields. PATH not only allows them to complete their clinicals but also helps provide a plethora of counseling and case management to individuals and families who need it.
At Pathways for Change, we offer Bachelor and Master’s level internships to provide a variety of career experience through many of our programs which include:
Men’s Residential Treatment - An intern provides clinical services for non-violent offenders that range from individual, family, marriage and group therapy, facilitation of addictions treatment curriculum, case management, and assessments.
The Family Center - An intern will conduct individual, couples, and family counseling, facilitate support groups (i.e. anger and stress management, etc.), teach job-readiness and computer skills courses.
Women's Veteran Treatment - An intern will facilitate classes and groups helping female veterans with substance abuse problems transition back into society.
The Clinical Director, Tammy Ramos, and staff help each intern to create an individual internship plan that will help balance their work and school schedule, while also having the time for family.
